About

Kate Major is a costume designer and fabricator, wardrobe and uniform specialist, textile artist, avant garde fashion enthusiast, craft workshop leader, and fashion experience producer. She has worked for 12+ years in the entertainment industry and collected a wide variety of sewing, and crafting skills as well as unbeatable organization and coordination. Kate has worked with companies such as Field Entertainment, Cirque du Soleil, Busch Gardens, and Meow Wolf.
A pivotal moment in Kate's career was showing a 12 piece collection of maximalist looks at Denver Fashion Week in 2023. It served as the jumping off point for Kate to produce her own fashion show, Absolute Rubbish: a sustainable fashion experience, a show that happens yearly at 4 Meow Wolf exhibits.
